drilling fluids capacity for solids removal, lubricates and improves wall cake integrity, and acts to aid the fluid’s cooling


Capacity:

"SLICK BORE 54" treated drilling fluids are stable colloidal dispersions that exhibit the outstanding functional

properties of oil-emulsion systems. However, "SLICK BORE 54" requires no emulsifying agents or sufactants to remain stable. The product is not an oil, oil solution, or oil dispersion. It functions by forming a lubricating lm on all surfaces in contact with the drilling fluid. This effectively improves equipment and uid performance thereby reducing drilling and equipment cost significantly.  "SLICK BORE 54" does not require any mixing with diesel or mineral oil as it is ready to use at all times and requires no hazardous waste disposal.


Properties:

"SLICK BORE 54" is a nonionic, water-soluble inorganic drilling fluid additive designed for use in all water

based drilling mud. The product has been found to be effective and environmentally safe when added to any

water based system. It has good low temperature handling properties and is functional at temperatures exceeding 500 degrees F.
